Hello? Is Anyone There?

Over the past few weeks, Drew has really loved talking to people on the phone - Grandparents mostly, but I had the joy of talking to him while I was in Denver last week.

It's amazing how much he talks now on the phone - of course there's a little bit of coaching when there are some pauses. But the conversation usually centers around whatever object/movie is closest at the moment. And the discussion ends with some banter about how much he loves and misses you.

It's so strange to hear him on the other side of the phone. He sounds so grown up now! I love it. And during my last trip Dave said he started holding the phone himself during the call. This is a new adventure, since we're usually holding the phone to his ear, you know because the other hand has a toy or food.
