An All-Star Halloween

It was an All-Star Halloween at our house on Saturday. It has to be Daddy's favorite holiday of all time. So the plan was to have Grammy and GrampC join us for dinner, and then an evening of Trick-or-Treating.

Drew was really excited to get candy! And he was quite a trooper going door to door knocking and saying trick-or-treat. It helped that we watched "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" on Friday night - and again that morning. So Drew was able to brush up on his skills. (And learn that getting a rock isn't a good thing).

We made it around about 1/2-3/4 of our complex before Drew finally tuckered out. The dragging candy pumpkin, and the slower pace were dead giveaways.

But that's when we went back home to enjoy the fruits of his labor - Drew's pick for candy that night.... Whoppers!

Oh, and Daddy was very proud of Drew's candy ventures (since he will eat most of them). Daddy was back at the house "performing" and scaring all the neighborhood kids - his favorite thing. Year round, the kids will come up and say that we're the "scary house".

Here are some additional pictures of the evening:

Drew checking out the trick-or-treat bag from Aunt Connie (it lights up and says: "Trick or treat, trick or treat. Give me something good to eat.)

Drew knocking on a neighbor's Door. (He tried to walk into most homes that opened the door).

Not so sure about Daddy/Dracula

  1. LOL at that last picture!

We had a "scary house" on our block too and the boys still talk about how the big pumpkin went "wooooooooooooooooo!" and was loud. LOL
