Oh Christmas Tree

Last Thursday we went to the annual tree lighting celebration in our town.  This year there were probably half the amount of people, so it was awesome.  I'm not sure if the threat of rain kept them away or what, but it was quite pleasant to walk around and see what we wanted to and enjoy the sights and activities.

At 6:30 it was the countdown to light the giant tree...

Then after the lighting it was time for the big guy to make his appearance.  But not before Doodle's friends came over to say hi.  (Confused who Doodle is?  Read up on him here).

Drew was putting on his serious face for the jolly old man.

And here he is!  Drew had no problem going up to St. Nick and telling him he wanted a Mobigo for Christmas.

After seeing Santa, we made our way around and Drew was flirting with the snow princess.  She thought he was the cutest thing. (We agree but we're bias).
