Fall Has Arrived

Living in California, the seasons generally blend into one another. It's not like we have extreme seasons like I remember growing up in Minnesota. In fact, Fall - one of my favorite seasons from my days in Minnesota - is kind of overlooked here in California.

It's rare that you see the leaves really change into the dramatic colors of yellows, oranges, browns and almost purple.

Well this past weekend, the wind was so bad it kept Dave and I up much of Saturday night, and it dropped a ton of leaves from the trees in our front yard. So what do you do when you have a two year old and a ton of leaves?


Why jump in the leaves of course!

That's right, we bundled some leaves and let Drew go to town. He loved it! What's not to love. You're outside, jumping and running around, and Mommy and Daddy don't mind if you make a mess with the leaves!
