On this the weekend of the Dodger-Giants Rivalry weekend, what a fitting blog to update you on how Dodger Dog came to Drew's rescue (and that of his preschool teachers).
Let me back up by saying that since Drew started preschool on Monday he wouldn't take a nap. Within the past few months Drew has come to love his naps - as have his care givers (Ms Stephanie and us). Well on Monday - Wednesday he wouldn't nap. Lay there quiet - yes, but not nap. So his teacher asked if Drew had any "loveys" at home. While he doesn't anymore, I wondered if a little toy would still help him relax enough to sleep.
Therefore Dodger Dog went to school yesterday too. And guess what - Drew took a nap!
However when we went to pick him up, he wasn't wearing the same shirt we sent him in. Turns out he had "ickies" when they tried to serve him carrots at snack time. sigh
