Bo Don't Know Didley

Lucky us we are a 1 car family until Dave's car who he has affectionately named Bo Jackson, his favorite Oakland Raider - is on it's way to the mechanic for the third time in 3 weeks.




Extreme measures were needed this morning to keep Bo Jackson ticking. Intermittently Bo doesn't want to start. At first it was thought to be the fact rodents ate the wiring. Nope. Then a suspected transmission gasket. Nope.

The tow truck driver suspects something with the Theft light. We shall see.

***Update - as of about 10am we had our full diagnosis.  First, the rodent was back and ate more wires.  But also, the battery, fuel pump and fuel line died.  Merry Christmas!

The Wheels on the Car Go 'Round & 'Round...

Ok, so maybe the song is about buses, but Drew's thrilled about his cars!


Last week Tata & Abuela sent Drew some cars along with other treats in the mail, and Ms. Stephanie got Drew his first official Hot Wheels. He's had so much fun with cars, that we picked up a few Hot Wheels as well. Drew is absolutely obsessed with spinning the wheels and rolling the cars through the kitchen.

If you talk to Dave's parents you'll learn that spinning wheels 'round & 'round for hours is a hereditary thing. Dave did the same thing at Drew's age.

On a side note, today Drew's 21 months old! Is it really possible that he'll be 2 in a few months?!
