4th of July - 2014

While the 4th of July was on a weekend this year, it was low key (by our standards).  We went over to my parents house (Grammy and GrampC) and just did some swimming and BBQing.

 

Dave of course had to dress for the occasion.  Everyone commented about how toned down he was in comparison to previous years.   His logic - it was too hot to wear all that gear.

In the evening we watched the neighbors setting off fireworks.  We were too busy to pick them up this year and so we enjoyed someone else setting them off - on their dime too!  Some of us were able to stay up to see the Grand Finale....

.... Others not so much.
